I was told by very reliable sources (still working and former employees) that Teleperformance is really bad in terms of handling employee exits. OMs and TLs don't have any clue what documents need to be completed and how the whole process of an exiting employee go. All exiting employees, per company policy, have a 90-day turnaround time. This means that in 90 calendar days or less, the employee who left the company, is supposed to have already received his/her final pay which of course includes tax refunds, bonuses, pro-rated 13th month pay, pay for last days worked, etc.
The people who I got to talk to told me there was a whole wave or batch of employees who resigned from the company 5 months ago but still have not received their final pay. Now, if my math serves me right, if we consider each month to have 30 days, multiply it by 5 and you will get 150 days, right? Well, Teleperformance have this weird habit of still asking questions about the resigned employee about things that they should already know the answers to. I mean, the HR/Recruitment should have it in their 201 file, right? Duh?
Here's an excerpt from one of their "Clearance Notification" served to a resigned employee :
Dear (enter employee name here),
Your clearance is currently being processed. Please allow 90 calendar days for us to review, finalize, and clear you from all your accountabilities and process your final pay. We hereby request you to follow up with us via email on or after (date of 60th day) by sendingan email to Philippines@teleperformance.com so you will be given further instructions on how you can claim your finals pay.
Please ensure that you type CLEARANCE on the subject line of your email and the following details must be provided:
1. Complete Name
2. Employee Number (CCMS ID Number)
3.Site where you were assigned
4. Date when you processed your clearance
5. Last account/program handled
6. Date of birth
7. Name of last supervisor
8. Hire date
9. Separation date
As a reminder, our turn-around time for clearance and final pay processing is 90 days. Failure to settle your accountabilities might delay the processing and release of your final pay.

I'm sorry but a large number of employees I spoke with who have worked here all said the same thing and are still angry. The people I know who are still working here are also angry that they have to deal with this s*@T

This is true. My brother resigned from Teleperformance, a branch located at Insular Life bldg., Ayala Center, Cebu, and was given the same letter. I then asked my HR (i'm on a different company) and according to him, the maximum allowable days should not exceed 60 except for those who are working on a "sales account" or something pertaining to "sales" who were given more days as there might be liabilities left that needs to be checked. I doubt though that Teleperformance is selling "THEIR" product(s) or has an installment type of payment that makes the employee/agent liable for the sold product. DeleteThis is still VERY true. My friend and I were given the same letter. She resigned ahead of me and sent an email to said address on her schedule date of follow-up. She had to send three emails to them before they replied, which is not much. She was instructed to wait for update, whatever the hell that means. It's already been two weeks and she has not received word since. She personally visited the TP site in Bacolod but she was not able to go near HR because reception informed her that she will not be entertained without an email from Philippines@teleperformance.com
ReplyDeleteIn my case, I have sent them two emails. Obviously, and unsurprisingly, they have not yet replied. My course of action is to call them after not receiving any response and if that does not cut it, then I will have to file a complaint at NLRC.
Just came from Bacolod TP earlier today and accounting told me the exact same thing and I had to fight the reception to get my clearance notification back which I received from HR last year

DeleteIt is already beyond 90 days and I still haven't got my final pay and clearance. I worked in TP-Alphaland. I've been calling and e-mailing them multiple times. And instructed me to wait 3-4 weeks for the releasing of my final pay. In fact, it is nearly 4 weeks already and haven't got any positive feedbacks. All I've got was a promise, just like what a typical agent do during the call just to get rid of the caller. The agent doesn't want to give the accounting department number and even told me to go personally in Octagon building just to follow up my final pay...and finally I was able to talk to the POS ( not sure if that is just an agent too) and repeated what the previous agent told me. I might gonna file a complaint to NLRC or DOLE if there is no progress.

May, 2015 pa ko nag clearance, diba dapat pag tumawag ako they should be able to identify if there's already a cheque. Anu bang inaantay ko sa email ko? For them to advise me if there's a cheque already? It's more than a year na... they should have the check ready!

Does this mean babayaran ko yung negative last pay amount? I could not find any acceptable reason kung bakit ko babayaran sila. Second, it was an immediate resignation which means I was not following the 30 days prior written notice pero my supervisor and manager expressly approved the shorter period notice. I have the same issue. It's an immediate resignation because of pregnancy. I was able to complete my clearance April 2015 but I received an email from them informing me that I have a final pay. I was not able to file my maternity benefit back then because the HR department is asking for a lot of documents which I was not able to complete until I resigned. Now, SSS is asking me for a certificate of separation from TP and a certificate of non-advancement of maternity benefit but I cannot get it from them unless I will pay them the "negative final pay" they are asking me. Teleperformance is such a pain in the ass.

DeleteI have to ask I was terminated in Tekeperformance,that time I was pregnant 3-days absences,call-in the first day but not 2nd and 3rd day cause I was told to my doctor to have a full bed rest.So when I came back,I brought my medical cert. But what my OM did is that she let me signed to a termination paper without any due process/ hearing to HR. I didn't went to DOLE cause I need a job and I don't want to go back working with them ever cause of discripancy issues. So, I thought baka lately ang exit management ng tp ay nag-improve kahit papaano, pero hindi pa rin pala. I resigned October 24, 2016... then nag-message ako sa kanila around December just to check kung ready na backpay ko, because most of my co-workers told me that it won't take more than 90 days. They replied after 2 days, but told me that my backpay was still on process. So, I waited till Jan 24 this year to email them. I sent 3 emails to be exact, but 1 week have passed pero wala pa rin. I called them, and the rep I talked to sent an email on my behalf. Sabi niya within this week, I should get a reply. Napaka incompetent ng ext management ng tp. Kahit makailang follow up ka, walang kwenta.

DeleteTP really sucks, everything that they told us at the beginning was a lie, biruin mo ba naman. Nag resign ka ng maayos, binigyan ka ng papel as proof na cleared lahat ng mga bagay na dapat surrender sa kanila, then provide din ang timeframe diba. Pero di lahat nasusunod yung nakalagay sa papel, which is freaking annoying. They can't even tell the reason why they can't give the final pay. I resigned in TP ayala makati. September of 2016, until now wala parin ako naririnig from them almost 6 months na.

ReplyDeleteTotoo po 'to. Sa case ko nga sa follow-up date ko nag email ako tapos first reply ng representative, naka leave daw siya at update nalang niya ako. After ng almost 2 weeks nireplyan ako na ZERO daw backpay ko. So syempre tumawag ako and 'yong response lang sakin ay punta nalang ako sa site which is TP AYALA kasi di daw pwede i'disclose thru call. Sobrang inconvenient, so ako na gusto makakuha ng official break down ng backpay ko pumunta naman. Di pa sana ako maentertain kung di ko sinabi na mag lilimang buwan na akong naghahantay ng back pay. So after ng matagal na intayan, they informed me na nagkaroon lang daw ng delay at meron daw akong backpay. Mag antay nalang daw ako ng 'After two weeks'. Nag antay po ako, lo and behold hindi lumagpas ng 5k ang back pay ko sa isang taon at anim na buwan na pag titiis ko sa kompanya nila. May deduction pa ng HMO nila na 500php plus para sa dependent ko na isang beses lang namin na gamit. Nangtanungin ko bakit may ganung deduction walang maisagot ang taga payroll sakin. Walang Tax refund at Pro rated 13th month pay lang 'yong nakasulat na pinanggalingan ng back pay ko na 'yon. Wala akong nakuhang tax refund for year of 2016 sa company na 'to kahit December 2016 ako nag resign. At ang pinaka reason ba't ako nag resign? Kasi kahit pumasok ka ng kompleto sa isang cut off, magugulat ka nalang na may deduction ka ng tig dalawa o tatlong ABSENT sa isang cut off at dahil pangit nga ang back office nila. Matagal mo makukuha ang dispute sa sahod mo. Kelangan mo pang iyakan ang perang pinaghirapan mo. Marami akong witness sa mga nayari sakin sa company na 'to. Di lang ako abused financially as an employee, emotionally din sa sobrang kapabayaan ng company na 'to. Wala silang pakialam sayo kahit ilang beses kang tumawag o pumunta sa office nila. Sobrang unproffesional.

Eh first day yun, dko nga na meet trainor namin kc trainee na trainor yung nag handle on the first day. May nag babayad na ba sa inyu ng negative pay or 30days salary because of breach of contract?

Breach of contract yung reason siguro kaya negative ako. Pero upon checking may contract, it's project based and from January to April lang sya pero I managed to stay with the company for 8 and a half months. I'm noy sure if I should go to their main office kasi I'm afraid na baka i-obligate nila ako to pay for the damages na nagawa ko for the company. What should I do? :(

DeleteI have also the same sentiment. I have left Teleperformance last May 27, 2017 and process clearance June 20, 2017. HR advised me to send an email to follow up on or before 90 days. I have contacted HR thru phone advising them I have sent an email and not receiving any feedback. Same person lang nakausap ko name nia LANCE, biglang naiba ang instruction nia sabi nia dapat nagsent ako after ng 90 days. Nairate ako kasi wala n nga sila reply sa email tapos paibaiba ng instruction. Maayos ka umalis sa company tapos ngayon ganito sila sa amin.
ReplyDeleteOmg experiencing the same shit rn. I resigned last June 27, 2017 (immediate) and processed clearance on July 5th, so I was supposed to get my last pay yesterday Oct. 5th. But a week before that I called their hotline and said I should email to Philippines@teleperformance.com and I was told to wait for 3 working days. So the same day I sent them an email. Waited 3 working days and didn't receive a fucking word from them so I phoned the hotline again. Iba na naman ang instruction nila friend and was told to email the same email address after 90days has passed. I did, yesterday morning and today as well but received zero fucking response from them.

ReplyDeleteWe have different experiences pala. Sa case ko kasi, I got my final pay and exit documents already. Dapat Oct. 15 pa follow up ko that's 60 days after may clearance date pero nag follow up ako early and there! Mas napaaga yung release ng final pay and exit documents ko. Nakuha ko nung Oct.5 :) TP Ayala. They are good :) Depende lang siguro sa management ng mga sites.

(BTW: I got a loan from SSS before i resigned. 10K+) Just today 11/06/2017 I've receive the email from Exit Mngmt said: It appears on our records that your final pay has been applied to your SSS loan.

This is true. In my clearance notification, they indicated that I have to wait 90 days to email them and get my final pay. Now, I emailed today, as early as possible, didn’t get any reply and ended up calling their hotline. Now, I spoke to Sean and was told that I have to wait 3-5 more days for a reply on the email I sent! Saying they have to talk to the exit management regarding the check, and it might not be available or what. Is 90 days not enough to do all that shit! I wanted to seek any legal advice as to how long should it take for you to get a backpay.

ReplyDeleteStill the same sh!t with TP. I have been with them (Telstra Bigpond campaign in Edsa) for 5 years. Had to leave because I got an offer abroad. I left the company but still rendered my 30 days resignation. Was not able to get my last payment as I was already scheduled for my flight. Went back here in Ph after 2 and a half years (Oct 2017), hoping to follow-up on my final settlement. Needless to say, I don't think my previous managers filed my resignation properly. So I went to HR. Filled out this exit form, got the same letter as above. Was advise to wait until 90 days which was Jan 18, 2018. Called them after Jan 18, advised to send mail. Sent mail I think 4-5 times now and still not getting any further response aside from "your final pay is still on process and currently queued for computation." This has been on going for a month now. I am planning to already file a complaint against this Company

ReplyDeleteHi guys ..ive been with tp for 1year mahigitm..i resigned last dec2016 due to not being able to find a nanny for my son ..i was given 3 mos mat leave dhl CS ako pero when i came back i spoke with my OM and ACCM agad i told them magreresign na ko dhl wla tlga mag aalaga sa baby ko ..so my accm gave me another month to find a nanny ..sbi nya "mag leave ka ulit ng 30days pramkapaghanap, kung wala then cge magresign ka"..so nagresign ako after that and same given paper for clearance and sh*t ..pero nung prinocess ko sya march of last yr 2017 dhl kylangan ko ung COE KO, sabi rin nla na may utang daw ako sknla ..now im trying to apply sa ibang companies pero ayaw parin nla ibigay COE KO ..its been 2 years ..ok lng sakin kht wla ng backpay eh, all i need from them is my COE ..so guys i need help regarding this kc COE lng tlga kylangan ko ..any advice?

DeleteMahilig magpabayad ng kung ano ano ang TP kahit immediate resignation ka, wala ka dapat utang dahil ning first pay mo dinelay ang sueldo mo ng 2 weeks. Yun amg dapat na mag ccover ng hindi mo pinasok on your last day. Saka meron ka rin dapat 13th month pay pro rated. Kahit 1 buwan lang ang pinasok mo sa isang taon bayad ka dapat nun. Pedeng maging zero ang backpay. Pero hindi pedeng maging negative. At kung feeling niyo na inuuto kayo or binubully kayo ng mga HR nilang shongaers ipa DOLE niyo na agad.

DeleteBukod sa backpay at 13th month meron ka ring pro rated tax refund. Yung tatlo na yun pag pinagsama higit pa sa isangbuwang pasueldo sa iyo ng TP baket ka magkakautang. Kung tinatakot kayo idemanda niyo. Kikita pa kayo sa kashongahan ng HR nila.

What should I do?
Pasensya na pero naglalagay sila ng schedule sa e-mail nila ng 9pm daw pupunta. Tapos, magbubukas sila ng 10pm or 10:30pm galing ang HR sa Starbucks or sa kung saan, feeling paimportante at untouchable. Sarap patikimin ng demanda sa DOLE dahil hindi naman yata porke may kailangan ka sa kanila, papaimportante na sila. Lahat ng materials 9pm pinapapunta pero dadating atvmagbubukas sila anong oras na!

But upon reading comments here, naisip ko bakit hindi na lang ako mag awol since wala din naman akong makukuhang coe at back pay. Ano pa bang maeexpect ko din sa back pay ko eh isat kalahating buwan lang ako. Concern ko lang is would it affect my career kahit na di ko i-declare na nagwork ako sakanila? Planning to go back na mag review for board exams and pursue what I really want in the medical field. Ayun lang naman. Help!! Hehe
ReplyDeleteI’m also experiencing this one right now and I was told that I have a negative balance because I wasn’t able to render 30days though it was an immediate resignation and was signed and approved by my supervisor,account manager and a rep from HR. They told me that I need to pay it first so I can get my collectibles which I insist not to.

ReplyDeleteAegis ako before naging TP. 11/14/12 ako na hire tas nag exit ako 4/25/13 hindi ko na kaya kasi kada salary nag file kami ng dispute kasi mga OT namin hindi nasasama and until ng exit ako wala pa rin. So, meron silang utang sa akin.

It is just so unfair as I learned that my colleagues got their final pay even if they were AWOL o got terminated.

Even calling them 4 times, paulit ulit ang tanong nila. Walang makasagot ng maayos, they tell me sir wait ka po ng 4-5 days, so kung 5times na ko tmtwag and same answer, 4x5 is 20! Badtrip talaga sila.

As what's stated on the paper July 15,2019 onwards, From the said date til July 17,2019 there are no replies. July 18,2019 9:05 AM I sent another email then they replied.
Tip Iflood niyo lang yung email. What's funny nakalagay sa clearance paper na may format oa at isesend mo sa Philippines@teleperformance.com, pero nay representative lang doon na magaask kung okay na which ang department na magreply ay from TPPH Exit Management System • TPPHExitManagementSystem@teleperformance.com. So wag mawalan ng pagasa magsend kayo pareho diyan sa email basta follow the format, at flood lang
4 yrs ako sa TP at kaka resign ko lang noong July- 2019. The same din 30 months and sabi bago makuha back pay, pero I tried to email them On Oct, 5 at nag reply sila Oct 7 sabi okay na daw for pick up so nakuha ko naman backpay ko a week before doon sa petsa na naka indicate sa letter nila.

ReplyDeleteNag AWOL ako last November 26,a day after ng cutoff. Nag email ako sa kanila regarding sa concern ko if makukuha ko pa ba yung backpay ko. And tumawag sakin yung HR saying na need ko mag clearance sa Octagon and mag wait for 90 business days ata kung di ako nagkakamali ng dinig ko sa HR na tumawag nun. Seeing the comments ng mga mas tenured pa sakin dito na struggling sila makuha yung backpay nila, parang nawawalan na rin ako ng pag-asa makuha yung backpay ko. Hayystt. Nagkamali ako ng BPO na pinasukan. Lately ko lang nalaman na ang taas nga ng attrition ng TP.
I filed immediate resignation last october 2019.. the email that i got was my final pay is isufficient to cover my accountabilities, whereas my former co-agent who also filed his resignation that same month got his final pay... what's wrong with TP? Pano na ko mag aapply sa iba?

ReplyDeleteHi working in TP for just more than 3 months submit my resignation letter this day, it is immediate request because i need to prioritize my health and study.my concern is baka magkaroon ako ng bridge of contract because of that, i have an copy of my contract wala namang nakalagay dun about sa Bridge of contract na sinasabi ng HR na they will deduct 22 days or equivalent to my whole month pay to my finak pay. What to do po, panu po ko makakapag file ng complain sa NLRC or DOLE for this, i want to get my COE without paying any liabilities from them. Since maayos naman akong umalis.
ReplyDeleteHi, before kayo mag AWOL. Try niyo muna mag render ng 30 days after submitting resignation notice. Why, para di kayo mahirapan kumuha ng COE. Ginawa ko kasi yan kahit may absent ako ng ilang araw. Pero awa ng diyos wala naman silang binawas or pinabayaran sakin based sa Computation ng Quit Slip. Yun nga lang matagal talaga sila magreply sa email. Nakadalawang tawag pa ako sa kanila before may nagreply sa email ko. Sa ngayon waiting na ako marelease ang Final Pay ko. Any idea pano magprocess ng COE sa kanila?

DeleteGood day po, same issue rin po sa akin na nag immediate resignation ako noong May 28 dahil ilang beses ako na LOA, nung nag submit na ako ng immediate resignation ma ayos naman lahat ng processing at kinausap ako ng HR mismo na puwede ko pa i retract yung immediate resignation ko. Ang sabi ko nalang tuloy ang immediate resignation ko, after kinausap ako sabi ng HR hindi daw nila alam kung mag kano ang ibabawas dahil wala daw sila information tungkol doon. Nag submit ako ng email follow up ng June 2 nag reply naman sila pero ang sabi lang i coordinate nila sa payroll team, after noon wala na going third month na wala silang update or follow up, nag email na ako sa philippines@teleperformanceusa.com/philippines@teleperformance.com at yung TPPHExitManagementSystem@teleperformanceusa.com wala ding reply. Sa ibang BPO na pinasukan ko gaya ng SITEL and CNX mabilis sila mag bigay ng update pero TP parang wala silang pake.

Then due to some Covid, I did not manage to go back to TP Cebu because I went home to our province in Mindanao. I did not managed to resign properly nor render any 30 days service. But my question is, I received an email from FPInquiries regarding my final pay. I mean, it's been 8 months. They said I have a final pay. Do I really have a final pay? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSame thing that I received. Follow the instructions that they sent out. It would either be because that you have a final pay or it may be because you have had a notice pay or balance with the company that you need to pay off. This normally happens if an employee does not render 30 days or going awol.

DeleteTo share my experience, I resigned from TP Vertis North near SM North Edsa last October of 2020. Hr had the audacity to tell me to comeback tomorrow after my visit since they were "busy" on new hire orientations which was a d*ck move; but I followed.

Long story short, I just received a text yesterday which was Sept. 21 2021 indicating that my final pay was already available for request. Process took almost a year for my exit which is pretty long. TP was my first company and it seems that they have lots of issues especially within their HR. The account was good but the hell with their HR.
Sa pagkakaalam ko if you submitted immediate resignation, it's you who breach the contract kaya my deductions sa final pay minsan negative pa pero rehirable ka so to get back pay, TP should be the one to terminate you like calloff kalang till magaccumulate ng 6 points pag umabot ka ng 6 points si tp na magsusubmit ng termination mo sa hr pero di ka rehirable

More likely if it's you who submitted immediate resignation, ikaw yung ng breach ng contract so may deductions sa final pay minsan negative pa so dapat to get backpay si TP mgteterminate sa agent. Pag si TP ngsubmit ng termination sa HR sila ying mgbebreach ng contract , pagsila yung ng breach then may makukuha kang backpay pero sa ganitong casses di ka na rehirable

DeleteI was separated from TP last November 11. Nareturn lang di yung asset last January kasi nagkaroon ng miscommunication din kaya January lang napush through yung asset retrieval. Nakareceive na ako ng final pay first week ng December. Nauna yung crediting ng final pay bago yung pagsasauli ng asset kaya nung napick up na nila yung desktop ng January, Nagrequest naman ako ng soft copy ng final pay computation. Inabot pa ng 2nd week ng February bago nila nasend sa email ko yung computation then saka palang ako nag raise ng dispute. Everyweek na akong nagfollow up sa hotline . First week ng March ininformed na ako ng csr sa hotline na Cleared na ako since nareceived na daw nila yung asset kaya nag aantay na ako ng recomputation and crediting kaso mahigit 1 month na from the date na nag raised ako ng dispute wala pa ding update ang TP 🤧🤧 Hamggang ngayon wala pa dinng balita sa dinidispute ko lalo na yung headset. San ko din kulutkutin yung 3500 na nadeduct sa final pay ko.nuh .. Malaking pera pa din yun lalo ma sa kagaya kong wala pa ding trabaho 🤧

ReplyDelete2024 na at ang gulo padin nila. Did immediate resignation during nesting due to the work culture. Tried to start the process of my exit before shift kaso as per HR si trainer lang makaka start nun. Submitted my resignation and trainer advised me to wait. A few days passed and blinock na ako ni trainer. Nasaule ko nman ung headset etong ID nlang na iwan. Gusto ko lang sana esaule din to pero ayoko magsayang ng oras pumunta dun at walang mangyayari.
